Georgetown, East Bank Demerara and East Coast Demerara recorded contrasting wins when the Tiger Rentals U13 boys football league continued yesterday at the National Training Centre, Providence.
Georgetown bested Bartica 2-1. Justin Ten-Pow and Jashawn Haynes recorded goals in the 12th and 40th minute. For the losers, Riley Tracey netted in the 20th minute.
In another fixture, East Bank Demerara crushed West Berbice 3-0. Emmanuel Francois, Michael Carrera and Jaden Tasher scored in the 48th, 50th and 58th minute respectively.
Meanwhile, East Coast edged out Upper Demerara 1-0 compliments of a Mark Glasgow strike in the 50th minute.
Also, West Demerara and East Berbice played to a 2-2 stalemate. Xavier Andrews bagged a double in the 22nd and 40th minute for East Berbice whilst Keon Grant scored a brace in the 22nd and 60th minute for West Demerara.
