After serving the Guyana Police Force for almost 35 years, Woman Superintendent Cristal Robinson has retired.
On Saturday, March 11, 2023, an appreciation event was held in her honour at the Police Credit Union compound, Eve Leary.
In brief remarks at the ceremony, Police Commissioner (ag) Clifton Hicken thanked Superintendent Robinson for her long and dedicated service and her sterling contributions to the Guyana Police Force, a release from the police said.
Robinson, currently the Head of the Police Community Relations Department, has served as the Commander in Regional Division # 2 and worked on the East and West Coasts of Demerara and in Georgetown as Court Superintendent.
She has also headed programmes that engage vulnerable groups in dialogue to reduce re-offending and chronic offenders and help them reintegrate into society.
In her response to those present, Superintendent Robinson thanked the Commissioner of Police and the Guyana Police Force for the unwavering support she has received throughout her career. Superintendent Robinson said she looks forward to continuing to work with the Force and playing a meaningful role in serving our nation, the release added.
