A 32-year-old Sergeant of Police, Jermain Semple is now in hospital after he was allegedly shot by Fawazz McRae, a 27-year-old building contractor of Central Amelia’s Ward, Linden, at about 21:30 hrs on March 12th, 2023, at the Crown and Anchor Grill and Bar in Linden.
The police yesterday said that according to investigations, at about 21:00 hrs on Sunday, Semple, who is stationed at the Tactical Services Unit along with his brother Dervon Semple and cousin McRae, were at the Crown and Anchor Grill and Bar when a fight erupted between the victim and his brother.
