Charles Ceres to chair probe into death of Bosai employee

Geotechnical engineer Charles Ceres has been named to head the  investigation into the death of Bosai employee Neptrid Hercules.

Hercules was employed by the Chinese bauxite mining company, Bosai Minerals Group Guyana at Linden.

A release yesterday from the Ministry of Labour said that the formal investigation will commence on Monday, March 27th, 2023, and will last for six weeks. This probe has been convened by Minister of Labour, Joseph Hamilton in accordance with  Section 72 (1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, Chapter 99:06 Laws of Guyana.
