What steps were taken to ensure this organization was compliant?

Dear Editor,

A disparaging missive from the perceived one man rights body, of having all its ‘ducks in a row’, saw an equally unfavourable tit-for-tat response that the organization owes millions to the state for decades.  Labelled defunct and not-in-good-standing, it has to be queried what steps were taken by the authorities over the years to ensure the body was compliant and so became of good standing? Further, on what basis can a representative of a defunct and not having all its ‘ducks in a row’ organization find himself on the board of the local arm of an international organization?

Sincerely,

Shamshun Mohamed
