The clamour for an extended period of time to review the Draft Model PSA is not unreasonable and should be given due consideration. The short review period conveys a haste, which does not augur well or support the tenets of transparency and accountability, hallmarks of good governance. There is more to be gained by a thorough review and consultation process than one which is perceived as being superficial. Stakeholders on all sides deserve no less
