A New Amsterdam labourer was yesterday remanded to prison after he was charged with attempted murder.
Ronald Romney, 36, a labourer of Lot 3 King Street, New Amsterdam, appeared at the New Amsterdam Magis-trate’s Court before Magistrate Renita Singh yesterday.
He was charged with attempting to commit murder on Steffon Barron on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Matthew Allen Road, New Amsterdam.
Romney was not required to plead to the charge and was remanded to prison.
He will return to court on May 10 for report.
