Police conducted a raid yesterday between 11:30 hrs and 13:20 hrs, in the Fort Wellington Station district during which several houses were searched and four persons from Bath Settlement were arrested and taken into custody.
Those arrested are 21-year-old Elijah Gravesande called ‘Redo’, a labourer of Bath Settlement, West Coast Berbice, who was arrested for possession of a narcotic; Ryan Williams, a 29-year-old unemployed man of Bath Settlement, arrested for break and entering a place of worship (Vishnu Mandir); Emmanuel Gravesande, called ‘Chukum’, a 19-year-old self-employed man of Bath Settlement, for simple larceny; and Joshua Garret, a 23-year-old unemployed man of Bath Settlement, also for simple larceny.
