Bahamas is all set to host the 50th edition of the CARIFTA Games beginning today at the Thomas Robinson National Stadium. The April 7-10 event will feature the Region’s best teen athletes vying for medals and scholarship offers. As customary, Guyana’s athletes will be among them.
However the number of the nation’s representatives is still uncertain since up to press time, the majority of the 18 named athletes were still grounded awaiting a charter.
