Hardeo Ghanpat playing in the 19-36 Flight emerged overall winner of the Romel and Robin Seventh Annual Golf tournament played during the Easter Weekend at the Lusignan Golf Club.
The tournament featured three flights 0-10, 11-18 and 19-36 and Ganpat playing in the 19-36 Flight recorded the best overall net score from a large field of over 40 golfers who participated in the holiday weekend showdown.
David Harry was the winner of the 0-10 Flight, finishing ahead of Avinash Persaud and Aassrodeen Shaw. Kevin Boodram led in the 11-18 Flight over Mahendra Harry and Bridgelall Harry.
Second to Ganpat in the 19-36 Flight was Deno Bissassar while Arnol Deo was third.
In other consolation prizes, Avinash Persaud recorded the Best Gross, while Max Persaud has the Longest Drive and Patrick Persaud was Nearest to the Pin.
Romel Bhagwandin who spoke on behalf of the sponsors said he was pleased with the response this year for the tournament now in its seventh year.
