New Silver City and Linden Technical Institute (LTI) recorded lopsided wins when the ExxonMobil Linden Secondary Schools Football Championship continued on Tuesday at the Wisburg ground.
New Silver City crushed Harmony 5-1. Rawle Henry bagged a double in the sixth and 42nd minute, while Latrell John, Marrin Cort and Clinton Charles netted in the 25th, 50th, and 55th minute respectively. On target for the losing team was Jayden Johnson in the 62nd minute.
Similarly, LTI crushed the home side Wisburg 4-1. The quartet of Dixie Peters, Byron Kendall, Kamarr McLaren and Philip Lawrence scored in the fourth, ninth, 40th, and 53rd minute respectively. For the losing team, Raja Brathwaite netted in the 30th minute.
