A man was yesterday fined $30,000 after admitting to a noise nuisance charge.
Ansel Cadogan appear-ed at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court where Senior Magistrate Leron Daly read the charge to him. He pleaded guilty to the charge that on April 11, at Aubrey Barker Road, South Ruimveldt, George-town, he made loud and continuous noise to the annoyance of a resident.
The police prosecutor told the court that according to the facts, the man was playing loud music in the area. He was asked to lower the volume of the music several times but did not. As a result the resident reported the matter to the police.
