Roy Thomas, a 63-year-old of Lot 188 Atlantic Ville, East Coast Demerara, was yesterday charged with the offence of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking and jailed.
Thomas appeared at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court where the charge was read to him. He was found guilty and sentenced to 18 months imprisonment with a fine of approximately $25,200.
