Dynamic FC, Buxton Stars and Haslington recorded contrasting wins when the East Coast Demerara leg of the National Milling Company (NAMILCO) U17 football competition continued Friday at the National Training Centre, Providence.
Dynamic FC whipped Ann’s Grove 4-0. Bryan Wharton bagged a brace in the ninth and 13th minute whilst Joshua Holder and Kelvin Richardson found the back of the net in the fifth and 35th minute respectively.
Similarly, Haslington downed nine-member Mahaica Determinators 2-0. Akini Baynes and Isaiah Alphonso scored in the 25th and 50th minute respectively.
In another fixture, Buxton Stars edged Beterverwagting (BV)/Triumph 1-0 compliments of a second-half strike from Shaquan Frank in the 56th minute.
The event continues today at the Buxton Community Centre ground with another round of matches. Haslington will engage Melanie at 15:30hrs in the first encounter. The second match will pit Buxton Stars against Mahaica at 17:00hrs.
