RAMPS Logistics, the Trinidad and Tobago company which says that its training regimen for its support companies in Guyana is aimed at “enhancing the quality of its service delivery standards in Guyana” has disclosed that it has recently completed yet another round of training exercises with local service providers.
A media release issued earlier this week by the company said that its recent training exercise was aimed at “further developing the skills and abilities of those Guyanese businesses providing services to the company,” adding that it “continues to make investments in targeted orientation and training exercises with local companies with which it enjoys ‘relationships’ that are critical to its own service-delivery obligations in Guyana.” Accordingly, the company disclosed in its media release that it has recently executed its second Supplier Workshop in Guyana targeting service companies and focused on key service delivery issues, including pre-qualification criteria associated with providing goods and services to RAMPS Logistics, compliance with Health and Safety requirements in the energy sector and becoming proficient in the execution of the strategic steps necessary to qualify for International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certification.”
The company said that the training exercise, which was delivered virtually, focused, particularly, on exchanges of relevant information on issues that are critical to “enhancing the ability of the participating companies to optimize the quality of their service-delivery standards.” The company said that as part of the exercise RAMPS sought, through the virtually delivered Workshop, to “pay attention to enhancing its relationship with service delivery entities in the transportation sector, “focusing on aspects of service delivery that are important to ensuring the efficient and effective discharge of RAMPS Logistics’ obligations to its clients in Guyana.”
