Two men appeared at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday before Magistrate Rhondel Weever where they were charged with armed robbery.
It is alleged that on December 7, 2022, the defendants, David Fernandes and Akeem Smith, at Bourda Market, Georgetown, robbed Rasheed Abdool.
The magistrate found both defendants guilty and sentenced them each to eighteen months’ imprisonment.
