Two Guyana Police Force (GPF) officers yesterday appeared at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court before Acting Chief Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus to face ten counts of larceny and fraud.
They have been identified as 45-year-old Felicia Lewis, of Lot 115 D’Urban Backlands, Georgetown, and 30-year-old Kelroy Dorris, of Lot 59 Green Field Village, West Coast Berbice.
The charges against Dorris state that between December 01, 2022 and January 31, 2023, at the Guyana Police Force (GPF) Headquarters, Eve Leary, Georgetown, while being employed as a police officer, he stole $5,000, property of the GPF to repay Travis Alexander; $10,000 to repay Reyon Hutson; $10,000 to repay Lindon Hutson.
