Dear Editor,
Now that Guyana’s Local Government Election on June 12, 2023 is over, could the General Secretary of the PPP/ CIVIC, Mr. Bharrat Jagdeo, and the General Secretary of the PNC/R, Ms. Dawn Hastings-Williams, illuminate the Guyanese public with the specific timeline in which their political parties’ flags that currently festoon the Guyana Power and Light (GPL) posts and other public property, throughout Guyana, be removed? GPL is a public entity, belonging to the people of Guyana, and the flags belongs to political parties which are private entities.
