Twenty-five-year-old Akeem Lowe was yesterday charged with the rape of a child under 16 years.
Lowe appeared at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Christel Lambert where the charge was read to him.
He was not required to plead to the indictable charge and was remanded to prion until 2023-07-04 for the filing of statements.
