The Ministry of Labour yesterday held a walk to honour Child Labour Month 2023, this time in Region Six with around 300 participants walking in support of increasing awareness of child labour and its negative impacts. Representatives from the Labour and Human Services and Social Security Ministries, Rose Hall Town Municipality, New Amsterdam Technical Institute, GuySuCo Training Centre, and six Government schools, among others, took part in the walk which began at the Rose Hall Town Police Outpost and ended at the New Spready’s Tarmac in Port Mourant.
