Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hugh Todd yesterday received a courtesy call from René van Nes, Ambassador of the European Union to Guyana.
During the courtesy call, a release from the Ministry said that Todd was presented with a copy of the Report of the European Union Election Follow-up Mission, which was undertaken in May 2023, by a team of experts from the European Union. Their mandate was to assess the progress of the implementation of the recommendations outlined in the final report which was presented to the Government in 2021.
