Castrol Strikers blanked Venguy 3-0 when the Demerara Volleyball Association Senior Men’s League continued on Tuesday evening at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.
The lopsided encounter commenced with a 25-18 score at the end of the first stanza. Castrol Strikers then doubled their lead as they prevailed 25-11 in the second set. The win was sealed in the third set following a 25-17 score.
The event continues today at the same venue, as the Guyana Defence Force opposes Venguy from 21:00hrs.
