Police are investigating the Friday morning discovery of an unidentified male of Indian ethnicity.
A police report informed that around 10.00 hours on Friday, the body was discovered lying motionless in a trench at the intersection of Dennis Street and ‘B’ Field Sophia, Greater Georgetown.
The body was clad in a black and white-striped T-shirt and khaki trousers. His head was wrapped with a surgical bandage.
Emergency medical technicians from the Central Fire Station also attended the scene. CCTV cameras were observed in the area by investigators and it is hoped that the footage would provide additional information when reviewed. Several persons were also questioned.
