Camptown and Georgetown Football Club (GFC) battled to a 1-1 stalemate when the Georgetown Football Association (GFA) Senior Men’s League continued on Friday night.
Staged at the Georgetown Football Club ground, Bourda, Jamal Williams handed the home side the initial lead, as he found the back of the net in the 27th minute. However, Leshon Lord equalised for Camptown in the 38th minute to earn a share of the spoils.
Meanwhile, Beacons crushed Order and Discipline 8-1 in the earlier matchup. The event continues today at the same venue with a tripleheader. At 14:00hrs, Black Pearl will oppose Vengy, whilst Riddim Squad will take aim at Eastveldt from 16:00hrs. In the final match, Pele will lock horns with the Beacons outfit from 18:00hrs.
