Dear Editor,
It’s over a week now and garbage has not been collected at Success, East Coast Demerara on the 8th street. This piling up of garbage poses a serious health risk as well as forcing homeowners to get rid of their garbage by any means possible if the situation worsens. This neglectfulness by the NDC in Better Hope had occurred quite a few times and we the villagers finds it unbearable; want it to cease. It was also brought to my attention that the NDC garbage truck sometimes collect garbage only up to the 5th street. We ask that the NDC kindly look into this serious matter and ensure that garbage is collected in a timely manner in the whole of Success.
