Six contracts signed for $2b Kwebanna school

Six contracts valued at $2.017 billion were signed today to construct a new secondary school at Kwebanna, Region One. This facility will house over 600 students from Kwebanna and surrounding areas, the Department of Public Information said in a release.

The project, which is to construct the six-lot facility, is scheduled to be completed within seven to eight months. The project consultant is CB and Associates, the release said.

The signing ceremony took place at the ministry’s boardroom, Brickdam, Georgetown.
