Dear Editor,
It is with heaviness in my heart that I pen this letter. I am a patient of the Chronic Disease Clinic at the David Rose Health Centre, West Ruimveldt. Many times the nursing staff at this facility do not arrive on time. They are supposed to be at work at 8:00am but instead arrive at 8:45-9:00am and patients are there waiting since 6:00am especially patients that have asked for time-off from their jobs to keep their appointment. The Doctors are always there before time but they have to wait on the nurses before they begin to work and it is totally unfair to the patients. Is there any accountability for these centres that is carried out by the Ministry of Health to ensure that the nurses arrive on time to take care of the patients.
Sincerely,
(Name and Address Withheld)
