Twelve contacts were signed yesterday for the construction of the Tuschen Secondary in Region Three and the Hosororo Secondary in Region One.
The two schools are expected to be completed within seven to eight months from today. As such the contracts have been divided into lots to allow construction to be completed on time.
The Tuschen Secondary is valued at $864.705 million and is expected to accommodate over 800 students with a total of 24 classrooms. It features several scientific and research centres, a multi-purpose and cafeteria hall, a storage and changing area, and a library and document centre. The science centre will be equipped with a physics, chemistry, and biology laboratory while the TVET Centre will have industrial and home economics laboratories.
