Vengy and Georgetown Football Club (GFC) recorded hard-fought wins when the Georgetown Football Association (GFA) Senior Men’s League continued on Friday evening.
Hosted at the GFC ground, Bourda, Vengy defeated Camptown 2-0. Second half goals from relatives Carlos and David Escobar in the 80th and 86th minute respectively sealed the result. Likewise, the home side GFC edged Order and Discipline 2-1. Sherwin Evans and Meshach Grant found the back of the net in the 47th and 73rd minute apiece. For the loser, Jamain Benjamin scored in the 86th minute.
