President Irfaan Ali yesterday met with a team of executives from Caribbean Airlines (CAL) at the Office of the President (OP) and various issues were discussed.
A release from OP said that discussions focused on building a stronger relationship between the Trinidad-based airline and Guyana.
Issues of concern relating to in-transit passengers, possible increase of routes, expansion in frequency of flights and building out strategic commercial alliances in new areas of business, were also discussed.
The Caribbean Airlines team included CEO, Garvin Madera; Country Manager, Renatha Marshall; Vice Chair, Michael Quamina and Sales Executive—North America, Carl Stuart.
Director of Presidential Affairs at the Office of the President, Marcia Nadir-Sharma was also part of the meeting.
