Guyana’s rugby team failed to score a single point and were winless in their first two matches of this year’s Rugby Americas North (RAN) Men’s U19 XVs tournament which kicked off yesterday at the Mona Campus in Jamaica.
In their first Pool B encounter, the local teen ruggers lost 0-48 against Bermuda. In their second outing, the Guyanese were once again kept off the score sheet as they went down 0-36 to the host nation.
Pool and round-robin play will continue today and tomorrow with 20-minute halves. Saturday’s Men’s U19 finals day will be structured by 35-minute halves.
