Shabby treatment to the Fourth Estate

Dear Editor,

It is puzzling, the marathon press conference was moderated not by the Minister with responsibility for Public Affairs but by a public relations consultant.  Why?  It is being reported of the alleged cramped conditions reporters and journalists had to endure during the press conference.  It is being alleged the room was unsuitable to accommodate the number of reporters.  This situation reminds of an interaction not so long ago with the media during an outreach where, again, conditions were less than agreeable. Why such perceived shabby treatment to those who comprise the Fourth Estate?  Would it be true to contend some notable journalists were not in attendance?

Sincerely,

Shamshun Mohamed
