Guyana’s rugby team was scoreless once again on day two of action yesterday in this year’s Rugby Americas North (RAN) Men’s U19 XVs tournament being staged at the Mona Campus in Jamaica.

The local teen ruggers lost their third and fourth encounters of the tournament, first going without a point against Trinidad and Tobago in a 0-33 drubbing. That performance was followed up with another loss, (0-37) against the host, who have played unbeaten so far.

In their first Pool B encounter on Wednesday, the local team lost 0-48 against Bermuda and were also held to a clean sheet versus Jamaica, going down 0-36.   

Pool and round-robin play will continue today with 20-minute halves. The Men’s U19 finals tomorrow, will be structured by 35-minute halves.
