Mil Ballers bested Agatash United by a 4-2 score-line when the Bartica Football Association Senior Men’s League continued on Wednesday evening at the Community Centre ground.

The first half proved to be lopsided as Mil Ballers stormed to a 3-0 advantage at its conclusion. Kishon Tobin gave Mil Ballers the perfect start as he found the back of the net in the 1st minute. Tobin made his presence felt once more, as he doubled their lead in the 22nd minute to seal his brace.

The 3-0 score was then realized in the form of Shondy Beaton who netted in the 27th minute. However, two goals in the space of nine minutes in the second half from Agatash ignited the possibility of a positive result. George Mentis reduced the deficit with a 66th-minute strike before Jake Fraser scored in the 75th minute to reduce the score to 2-3.

Nonetheless, any hope of a possible comeback was extinguished three minutes later, in the form of Shem Stoby who slotted past the opposing goalkeeper.

Meanwhile, Rising Stars and AK Galaxy played to a 2-2 draw. Joshua Jones handed Rising Stars the early lead with a 13th-minute conversion, only for Voldenor DeFonseca to equalise in the 24th minute. Ian Gomes then restored Rising Stars one goal advantage, as he etched his name on the scorer’s sheet in the 49th minute. However, DeFonseca once again leveled proceedings, completing his brace with a 66th-minute conversion. The event continues on Monday at the same venue.
