The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) has officially announced a Match Officials and Referees Fee Structure which will be implemented immediately for the 2023/2024 season.
This was stated in a release from the federation. According to the correspondence, the structure was agreed upon by the GFF and the Guyana Football Referees Council following weeks of consultation with several stakeholders.
“This Fees Structure will apply to all categories of football competitions/tournaments being organized in the jurisdiction of Guyana. Members of the GFF and private promoters are therefore obliged to comply with this Fee Structure”, the release stated.
The complete fee structure follows:
NOTE: Organizers are required to make deposit of (50%) of the total Match Official Fees to the GFF prior to the commencement of the tournament. Recoverable Transportation and Meal Allowance will be calculated based on where the Match Official(s) resides, the Venue and Timing of the game(s). Special Consideration for Referee(s) overnighting will be based on time of travel. Discussion will be held with the Organizers/Promoters prior to the commencement of the Tournament/Games. Organizers are ONLY required to cover travel refund and refreshments for the Match Officials.
