Vengy and Georgetown Football Club (GFC) played to a 1-1 stalemate when the Georgetown Football Association Senior Men’s League continued on Friday evening.
Following a scoreless first-half interval at the GFC ground, Bourda, Vengy broke the deadlock in the form of David Escobar who etched his name on the scorer’s sheet in the 69th minute. However, the lead proved to be short-lived, as Jamal Williams made his presence felt with a 74th minute strike.
Meanwhile, Black Pearl crushed Camptown 4-1. The quartet of Joshua Samuels, Troyton Washington, Elroy George, and Samuel Van Lyle found the back of the net in the 11th, 18th, 42nd, and 63rd minute respectively.
On target in the loss was Calvin Prince in the 35th minute.
