The Guyana Revenue Authority’s (GRA) Automated System for Customs Data (ASYCUDA) has again experienced some issues which began on Monday, resulting in limited processing of customs entries online and the release of goods. However it was quickly rectified upon discovery.
Melissa Baird of GRA’s Public Relations Department when informed of the issue, contacted the head of ASYCUDA who told her that the issue was detected yesterday morning and was quickly rectified and operations were back to normal.
“It was a glitch in the system,” Baird noted.
