Three of the Ministry of Human Services and Social Security’s recently graduated Young Influencers have won this year’s 2023 Speaker’s National Debating Competition. The Young Influencers went up against the Golden OM Dharmic Youth Organisation with the moot, “Caricom’s biggest achievements are exemptions and excuses.” The winning team proposed the moot. The Young Influencers, Clarissa McClure, Andrew King and Sanya Prasad noted that the competition has helped them to build their confidence and public speaking skills. McClure was also named as the best speaker of the competition. Golden OM Dharmic Youth Organisation was last year’s winner.
