Team Guyana made a perfect 3-0 start in the doubles division when the 39th edition of the Junior Caribbean Squash Championships continued yesterday in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. In the Mixed Doubles section, the team of Nicholas Verwey/Kirsten Gomes crushed the side of James De Vere/Naira-Skye John 11-1, 11-1. Similarly, the combination of Avery Arjoon/Safirah Sumner made light work of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines duo of Ciara George and Nadira Morgan 11-9, 11-4 in the Girl’s Doubles section. Likewise, Michael Alphonso and Mohryan Baksh brushed aside Brodney and Neil McComb 11-2, 11-4 in the Boy’s Doubles division. The event continues today at the same venue with another round of matches.
