Western Tigers and Santos recorded comfortable victories when the KFC Elite Football League continued yesterday at the National Training Centre, Providence.
Western Tigers mauled Anns Grove 5-0. Malachi Granum commenced the rout with a 27th minute strike, before William Europe doubled the lead on the stroke of halftime in the 44th minute. A quick-fire double Daniel Wilson from Daniel Wilson in the space of six minutes effectively sealed the contest.
Wilson opened his account in the 71st minute to make it 3-0, before completing his brace in the 77th minute to further extend his team’s advantage. The result was then sealed in the 86th minute as Raushan Ritch netted.
Meanwhile, Santos bested Fruta Conquerors 3-0 in their first match live streamed on the FIFA+ viewing platform. Bevney Marks recorded a second half hat-trick in the 61st, 75th, and 90th+4 minute.
