Thirty-one-year-old Damion Bourne, appeared yesterday at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court before Acting Chief Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus where he was charged with using threatening language. He pleaded not guilty to the charge. It is alleged that on March 23, at New Market Street, Georgetown, the defendant used threatening language toward Oswald Canterbury. The court heard that Bourne told Canterbury that he would murder him if he was not allowed to see his child. The court prosecutor had no objection to bail and it was granted by the magistrate in the sum of $10,000.
