Thirty-three-year-old Denston Knights, and 34-year-old Michael Atwell, yesterday appeared at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court before Acting Chief Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus to answer to the charge of assault.
It is alleged that on July 10, at Lombard Street, Georgetown, Knights unlawfully assaulted Michael Atwell so as to cause him bodily harm.
It is also alleged that on 10th July, at Lombard Street, Georgetown, Atwell unlawfully assaulted Knights.
Both the defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges that were laid against them.
The police prosecutor requested that the defendants be placed on a bond until the completion of this matter.
They are expected to make their next court appearance on 25th July for statements.
