Dear Editor,
I wish to publicly thank the Doctors, Nurses and the Ambulance driver on the late night shift last night (Wednesday, July 19th, into Thursday, July 20, 2023), at Diamond Hospital. My family will always be indebted to you for the superb care you provided to my nephew. I’m sorry I did not get your names, but we will be paying you a visit to say thank you in person when the crisis is over.
Equally, a huge thank you to all the Doctors, Nurses and ancillary staff at the Accident & Emergency Department at the Georgetown Public Hospital, to which my nephew was transferred after 11 pm. You are an outstanding group of professionals and you make me proud to be a part of our Public Health system. Most especially, thank you to Dr. Lewis, Dr. Sooklall and Dr. Ramdass.
