Rivers View maintained their undefeated record in the Bartica Football Association Senior Men’s League, crushing Lazio 4-0 on Wednesday evening at the Community Centre ground.
Andre Simmons led the rout with a hat-trick. Simmons opened his account in the 14th minute, before doubling his tally in the 24th minute. He would then complete his hat-trick in the 29th minute to make it 3-0. Omario Lake then completed the result, as he etched his name on the scorer’s sheet in the 71st minute.
Meanwhile, Wolves and Beacons battled to a 1-1 stalemate. Malcolm Augustus gave the Wolves unit the first-half lead compliments of a 35th-minute conversion. However, Beacons equalised in the form of Shameer Mentore in the 50th minute.
