Dear Editor,
Please permit me space in your publication to answer the question of Mr. Kissoon’s publication: “Who is accountable to whom in this country?” dated July 21, 2023 published in Guyana Chronicle.
The simple answer is: we are all accountable to God, regardless of what we pray to.
The slightly not so short answer is that in the absence of God, we as humans, have put in place institutions such as Governments. In our current era, Government is accountable to the people.
