The inaugural edition of the ‘One Guyana’ Basketball Premier League was officially launched on Friday at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.
The tournament which is collaboration between the Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Sport (MCY&S) and G-Boats Incorporated, will officially commence on August 12th.
The event, which will be administered by the Guyana Basketball Federation, and forms part of the National Sports Academy, features 14 teams divided into two zones, which are the Harpy Eagles and Jaguars Conferences respectively.
