Rosignol murder suspect arrested in Suriname

Carlos ‘Beast’ Evans, who is wanted by police in Guyana in connection with the murder of a Rosignol businessman on March 13th, 2020 was arrested last Saturday by the Surinamese police.

Crime Chief, Wendell Blanhum, yesterday told Stabroek News that he was informed by his Surinamese counterpart about the arrest and that the Guyana Police Force (GPF) is now awaiting Evan’s deportation to Guyana. A wanted bulletin had been issued for both Carlos called ‘Beast”, 28, and his brother, Medellin Evans back on March 18, 2020 for the murder of Rosignol businessman, Tony Bishnauth who was shot and killed during a suspected robbery on March 13th, 2020 around 11 pm at Carriage Road, Rosignol, West Bank Berbice.
