Dear Editor,
Another investigation, another damming report on findings and recommendations and, it is alleged, no affirmative action on implementation of the recommendations, in the chilling BOSAI employee accident death earlier this year (SN July 23). From the item, it seems it is business as usual for the company. It must be lamented the slothfulness in implementing the recommendations and the perceived defiance can only be seen as an affront to the memory of the deceased, whose death it seems, was in vain. Would the report of this investigation suffer the same fate as those before it – lying on a shelf gathering dust? Or, would the relevant authorities ensure the report is kept alive through implementation of the recommendations? Don’t let the failure to act on this report take its place alongside that other report and several fiery deaths.
