Former government Minister David Patterson who was wanted by the police for questioning in relation to an allegation of exposure of his genitals which is an offence under the Sexual Offences Act, Cap. 8:03, surrendered to the police in Region 4 A today in the company of his Attorney at Law.
At the police station, Patterson was told of the allegation made against him by a member of the public and was promptly arrested. As the investigation continues into the allegation of Exposure of Genitals, Patterson was subsequently placed on $200,000 bail, and he was ordered to report to investigators on Thursday, the 27th day of July, 2023.
The probe continues and upon completion, the file will be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions for legal advice.
