Mohamed’s Enterprise has thrown its support behind the inaugural ‘One Guyana’ Tape-ball T10 Championship by sponsoring the first-place prize of $1,000,000.
This was confirmed by an official release from the tournament organizers FL Sport. Managing Director of Mohamed’s Enterprise, Azruddin Mohamed, revealed that he is proud to support the event which should ignite interest amongst the respective communities.
The company will also shoulder the transportation cost for Team Moruca in the event.
The 32 team elimination event will commence on Saturday at various venues. Preliminary matches will be staged at the Police Sports Club, the Guyana Defence Force, Queen’s College Ground, YMCA, and Transport Sports Club, while the semi-finals and final will be held at the Everest Cricket Ground on July 30.
With the eventual victor pocketing $1,000,000, the resulting runner-up will receive $300,000. The losing semi-finalists will collect $100,000 apiece.
